About this course
Optical Coherence Tomography(OCT) is an imaging tool that allows for histology like
cross-sectional images of the human retina to be obtained. It make use of infrared light and measures the amount of optical reflectivity (amount of light getting back scattered from the retina) from a tissue. Is an optical instrument that can perform cross sectional image
of biological tissue within less than 10 micron axial resolution using light
waves.
