About this course
Gonioscopy is performed during the eye exam to evaluate the internal drainage system of the eye, also referred to as the anterior chamber angle. If the patient has glaucoma, this test will help the ophthalmologist to identify the type of glaucoma. An ophthalmic assistant must be able to arrange all the required materials and to assist the doctor to perform Gonioscopy examination. This
session will deal with the roles and responsibilities of the ophthalmic assistants while assisting for Gonioscopy examination.
