About this course
Corneal Light Reflex (Hirschberg) Test is a method of estimating the angle of manifest squint. In this test, the pen light is lighted and the corneal light reflections are observed. If deviation presents, the type of deviation and the angle of deviation is measured. An ophthalmic assistant must know how to perform corneal light reflex test to measure the angle of deviation. This session deals with step by step procedure to perform corneal light reflex test, indications, materials required, and the documentation method.
