About this course
Pupil dilatation is done during an eye examination. It causes pupils to widen, allows more light
and gives the doctor a better view of the inner parts of the eye. The ophthalmic assistant should know importance of dilatation, what happens when dilating a person’s eye and how to choose safe dilating eye drops for systemic and high risk patients. This session will provide all the information required for the ophthalmic assistant to administer dilating drops in any type of
