About this course
Microbiology is the study of microorganisms, which includes bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites. These microbes can be seen only with a microscope. They can cause eye diseases too. So, the ophthalmic paramedic must know various microorganisms causing infections, their types, the method of preparing slides, sample collection methods.
