About this course
An Autorefractometer is a computer-controlled machine used during an eye examination to provide an objective measurement of a person's refractive error and prescription for glasses or contact lenses. An ophthalmic assistant must know how to measure refractive error using autorefractometer to provide right glasses to right patient! This lesson deals with the components & features of autorefractometer and the procedure to measure refractive error using it.
