About this course
Myopia (Short-sightedness) is a problem of vision that causes distant objects to appear blurred, while close objects can still be seen clearly. This is because light rays are being focused in front of the retina, rather than directly on the retina. An ophthalmic assistant must know about myopia, the causes, and treatment options. This will help them to identify the myopia patients and to provide them accurate prescriptions.
